Project Manager

Operational Responsibilities
• Own project delivery end-to-end including planning, scheduling, site execution, and resource coordination; conduct weekly look-ahead meetings and daily task tracking.
• Hold functional responsibility for the teams allocated to sites under their care.
• Ensure that all resources under his site responsibilities are efficient and effective ensuring high safe productivity across all sites, including the adequate management of rotation and movement of personnel between sites
• Ensure overtime is distributed, justified and classified under billable to clients, rework activities or warranty claims
• Ensure that all DLI obligations as per project contract are being met.
• Ensure that all Supplier and service contract obligations as per contract are being met
• Manage Client Relationships and ensure continuous communication with client to assure client satisfaction
• Chair Kick off meetings and project meetings with all stakeholders - both externally and internally.

Administrative Responsibilities
• Create, Maintain, monitor and update project folders (Project Plans and Resource plans - both planned and actual, RFIs, drawings, procurement); issue variation claims and payment applications; ensure inspection permits and compliance logs are tracked.
• Follow and record variations and extra works in line with works being executed, variation to BOQ impacting workflows and extra works. This is to be supported in writing with client representative. This includes:
a) Monthly interim claims across all sites
b) Claims to cover:
1) progress claims as per BOQ
2) variations to BOQ during the course of works.
3) Extra works quoted separately consisting of extra works and/or variations to BOQ resulting in change in task flows according to agreed Work Planner

Quality Responsibilities
• Conduct formal site audits; ensure availability of tools, PPE, and testing equipment; manage site quality standards and lessons-learned reviews.
• Act as the quality management representative as and when required for projects not under his/her responsibility
• Carry out QHSE Inspections as and when required
• Manage customer relationship and customer complaints

HSE Responsibilities
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards; report and resolve incidents and near-misses with corrective actions within 48 hours.
• Act as the HSE Management representative as and when required for projects not under his/her responsibility
• Carry out QHSE Inspections as and when required

Asset Responsibilities
• Verify and confirm tools and calibrated testing equipment are prepared 48 hours before work fronts open.

Financial Responsibilities
• Approve labour allocation and overtime; lead cost control; manage payment applications and ensure budgets are not exceeded.
• Ensure that all supporting documentation is present and forwarded for invoicing. This includes:
a) Monthly interim claims across all sites
b) Claims to cover:
1) progress claims as per BOQ
2) variations to BOQ during the course of works.
3) Extra works quoted separately consisting of extra works and/or variations to BOQ resulting in change in task flows according to agreed Work Planner

Reporting Responsibilities
• Prepare weekly executive dashboard; maintain dashboards and issue progress reports and minutes to clients within 24 hours of meetings.

Attitude & Culture Responsibilities
• Motivate and mentor Site Supervisors; enforce company behaviour standards and resolve site issues fairly.

Training Responsibilities
• Conduct quarterly performance reviews of Supervisors; organise lessons-learnt sessions; coach site teams aligned with project KPIs.
